About
Built on a working farm — not in a lab.
AgroInsights didn’t start in a boardroom. It started on a farm, as one operator’s workaround — and grew into the operating system for agriculture.
The origin
Technology made by someone who did the work, for the people still doing it.
In late 2023, running the family farm in Venezuela from thousands of miles away while in a Lean Six Sigma role in the UK, Rafael could never get the numbers in front of him when a decision had to be made. So he built a platform to do it himself.
As Harvest Manager at Agrial Fresh Farms he was doing five hours of manual data entry a night. In pig production at Rattlerow Farms he was writing data on the window of the buggy to stay Red Tractor audit-ready. He built tool after tool, moved the whole thing onto WhatsApp — where the farmer already lives — and in January 2026 left to build AgroInsights full-time.
Every product since has been a response to a farmer ask. That is what makes the platform what it is: not a lab demo, but technology made by someone who did the work, for the people still doing it.
Who we are
Built by an engineer and a third-generation farmer.
Technology made by someone who did the work, for the people still doing it.
Rafael Diaz-Albertini
Co-Founder & CEO
The creator of both production platforms — and the proof they already run on a real farm. Rafael owns and runs Industrias Agripalma C.A., a 400-hectare organic, regenerative palm-oil and cattle operation in Mérida, Venezuela, where every feature is dogfooded daily, in Spanish, before any external user sees it. A biologist by training (B.Sc. Biology, Indian River State College) but a farmer, operator and trainer by trade — a third-generation cattle rancher, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and certified SAP Professional, with formal training in agroforestry (University of Florida) and dairy production (Penn State), and hands-on roles across UK farms and Latin America.
Richard J Albertini
Co-Founder & COO
Twenty-five years in senior operations across the FDA- and ISO 13485-regulated medical-device and diagnostics industry — at Johnson & Johnson, ThermoFisher and GE Medical — where he is a GE Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a student of the Toyota Production System (ME, MBA, cMBB). The discipline he carries is not only Six Sigma and Lean, but the beyond-compliance culture of the Johnson & Johnson Credo and the 1982 Tylenol response — engineering every regulated operation to a standard higher than the legal minimum. He brings that standard, with Rafael, to the small-and-medium farm.
Vet-validated, research-backed
We build with the profession.
Aidan Coe BVetMed(Hons) MRCVS, Director of Fram Farm Vets in Framlingham, is our veterinary adviser and lead vet for AgroHealthAI, backing an 18-month field-validation study. We’re convening a Vet AI Advisory Council — seats are in formation, and named members will be confirmed as they join.
Discipline
What we are — and what we are not.
We are a solutions company, not only a hardware company. We build hardware where the market doesn’t have what we need, and we’ll license or partner as it matures. We won’t pretend to do things we can’t do well — and being clear about that is part of how we earn trust.
Our operating posture meets standards before they require us to: a documented Quality Management System voluntarily aligned to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 27001 and IEC 62304 — the disciplines that govern medical devices. The Johnson & Johnson Credo legacy, transposed into agritech.
Our home
From July 2026: the Stowmarket Innovation Gateway.
We’re making our home at the Stowmarket Innovation Gateway — a tech-forward innovation hub in the heart of Suffolk farming country, and a fitting base for a company building the operating system for agriculture.
